A. REQUEST:
Prepare a resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation of
computer equipment, valued at $1,350, to the Hawaii County Fire
Department. The donor is Mr. Jarrett M. Ozeki. His address is
P.O. Box 565, Papaikou, HI 96781.
Request that a letter of appreciation be sent to him at this
address.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Fire Department is developing a department-wide computer
network to facilitate its incident reporting and communications
system. Mr. Ozeki has assisted the department in advancing this
system with his generous donation of three computers.
