Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Ivan Mochida of Council District 4, to the Hawaii
County Water Board. Mr. Mochida is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and is a
self-employed Genera! Contractor. He presently is a member of the Kanoelehua
Industrial Area Association and also serves as a director and golf chairman for
the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawaii. Mr. Mochida
states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a
term to expire on December 31, 2006.
