Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Fred Galdones of Council District 1 to the
Hawaii County P9anning Commission. Mr. Galdones is a 55-year resident of
Hawaii and is currently employed by the ILWIJ Local 142. Mr. Gaadones has
served ?r~ith the State Soard of Agriculture, the Hamakua economic Development
Task Force, and the Soy Scouts of America as a Committeeman for Troop 21.
He currently serves s a member of the Rural South Hilo Comm-unity Association.
Mr. Galdones states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed,
Mr. Galdones wiif serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
