Bill No. 134, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 422,
dated November 6, 2001, amends Ordinance No. O 1-55, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2002. The amendment is as follows:

The State Department of Transportation Public Affairs Office -Safe Community Program is
providing funds to purchase radios, vests, and flashlights for the newly formed citizen patrol that
will help to reduce the number of speeding motorists in the Lower Kaumana Gardens
Community.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 134 and
recommends it pass first reading.
