Bill No. 142, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 148-O1 by Director of Finance
William Takaba, via Communication No. 431, dated November 9, 2001, amends Ordinance
No. 01-55, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2002. The amendment is as
follows:

3302.88 Federal Grants- Violent Crime Unit General $102,000
To:
010-201-5219.91 Violent Crime Unit General $102,000
These funds will be used to create a violent crime unit by hiring and training two evidence
specialists and to construct an evidence storage.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 142 and
recommends it pass first reading.
