We oppose Oill 121 (®raft 3}
~4sking us to pay ~ 100 tars on each of our trio vacant lots in Nanavvale
estates is .discrimination It's not fair. You are asking us to pay ~ 150 more
per year while ovaoners of lots in Paradise Park will have no increase. ~°heir
lots are in the earns class (Unimproved Residential) as ours. fihis sounds
illegal to us.
We are retired and can't afford to pay extra taxes on lots Dove can't even sell .
for half ghat cove paid for them.
Section 1 of this bill starts out saying: "I°lavvai'I County is experiencing fiscal
challenges: due to rising cost of government services and the increasing
demands of a grooving population". If the county needs more tax revenue,
then you should increase taxes on all properties all across the county in an
equitable manner. We don't nnind paying our fair share but this bill is tot-ally
unfair. Something is drastically vorrong a~rith your thinking.
