Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 132-01, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 132-01, transmitted by Council Member Nancy Pisicchio, via Communication
No. 355, dated September 18, 2001, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from 1250
Oceanside Partners.
1250 Oceanside Partners has graciously donated $1,690 to the Hawaii County Fire
Department's Keauhou Fire Station to provide a permanent covered structure to house exercise
equipment used by fire personnel.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
A letter of appreciation will be sent to 1250 Oceanside Partners, 78-6831 Alii Drive, Suite K15,
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740, acknowledging this generous donation.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 132-01
and recommends its adoption.
