Comm. 460: APPOINTMENT OF FRED GALDONES TO THE PLANN[NG COMMISSION
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 11, 2001, submitting the appointment of
Fred Galdones of Council District 1 to the Planning Commission.
Mr. Galdones is a 55-year resident of i-Iawai`i and is currently employed by the
[LWU Local 142.
He states that he is not affiliated with any political party and, if confirmed, will
serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
Comm. 463: APPOINTMENT OF ANSON CHONG TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2001, submitting the appointment of
Anson Chong of Council District 6 to the Board of Appeals.
Mr. Chong, a lifelong resident of Hawaii, is currently with the University of
Hawaii as an adjunct lecturer. He is also asemi-retired planner and is a member
of the Democratic party.
If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2006.
Comm. 464: APPOINTMENT OF IVAN MOCHIDA TO THE WATER BOARD
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2001, submitting the appointment of
Ivan Mochida of Council District 4 to the Water Board.
Mr. Mochida, a lifelong resident of Hawaii, is aself-employed General
Contractor. He is not affiliated with any political party.
If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2006.

living on the Big Island for the last 12 years, is presently an administa-ative
assistant with Prostaffing, Inc., and is a master gardener from UHH. She is not
aff listed with any political party;
Le®nard' Dmsel of Hilo, anine-year resident of Hawaii, is aself-employed
landscape architect who designed the current Liliuokalani Park in Hilo. He is not
aff listed with any political party;

island-wide business, Tree Works, Inc. He is not affiliated with any political party;
Janet E. Anders®n of Vacationland, a 22-year resident of Hawaii, is the office
manager for Asia Paeific Flowers and the owner of Landscape Plant Nursery. She
is not affiliated with any political party; and
