Mr. Galdones is a 55-year resident of i-Iawai`i and is currently employed by the [LWU Local 142. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party and, if confirmed, will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006. Comm. 463: APPOINTMENT OF ANSON CHONG TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2001, submitting the appointment of Anson Chong of Council District 6 to the Board of Appeals. Mr. Chong, a lifelong resident of Hawaii, is currently with the University of Hawaii as an adjunct lecturer. He is also asemi-retired planner and is a member of the Democratic party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2006. Comm. 464: APPOINTMENT OF IVAN MOCHIDA TO THE WATER BOARD From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2001, submitting the appointment of Ivan Mochida of Council District 4 to the Water Board. Mr. Mochida, a lifelong resident of Hawaii, is aself-employed General Contractor. He is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2006.
