I would Iike to voice my opposition to the deployment of the SURT`ASS ~.F',A proposed
by the US Navy.
ii is my opinion that there are too many uncertaia~ties regarding its effect on marine
iralamrnals and marirxe eco-systems. With other environmental risks that already exist, it is
an unnecessary and unjustifaable burden on our oceans.
.Please ask your comrrAittee ta~cmbers to support Councilwoman Jacobsen's resolution
against deployment.
