Comm. 485: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE TDIRECTOR OF THE COUNTY (Res. 167-02) OF HAWAII TO SELL COUNTY OFFICE SPACES WITHIN THE HILO LAGOON CENTRE From Finance Director William Takaba, dated January 7, 2002, transmitting the above-titled resolution. Currently, the County offices of the Corporation Counsel, the Office of Aging and the Department of Civil Service are located at Kilo Lagoon Centrc. With the planned move to the JC Penney A~puni Center buildings, the offices will no longer be needed The assessed valu$s of these properties total $894,620. The County pays $44,295 annually in common area maintenance fees. If the resolution is adapted, they plan to sell the properties at a public auction with an upset price established through an independent apprraisal.
