Dear Councilman Santangelo,
1 would like to express my sincere appreciation for your support of our
efforts to expand diversified agriculture in Ka'u.
Your support of Bill 62 which will help establish apost-harvest irradiation
facility will allow us to grow crops for export. This type of
facility will be critical
in our long term plans to bring prosperity back to Ka'u.
I realize that this was not an easy decision as there is some very vocal
opposition on this issue. Your conviction and courage is greatly appreciated.
