System Low Frequency Active Sonar. As so little is known about its C.uvnty ~cssncil { ~ ~i4- effects on our marine mammals and other members of our reef population and what is known appears to show serious negative effects, we feel it is wise to remain on the side of caution and do all in our power to protect our marine environment and the animals it supports from any disruption. We make our living running SCUBA charters along the Kona Coast, and have for the past 28 years. Our dolphin and whale communities and annual visitors are a large part of the reason our clients come back over and over- to observe these magnificent animals in their natural surroundings. We must do our utmost to protect them from any harassment of any kind. Sincerely yours, Lisa M. Choquette Thomas E.
