Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. James U.C. Low of Council District 3 to the
Hawaii County Tax Soard of Review. Mr. Low is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and
is the retired General Manager of the Sun Sun Lau Restaurant. He is a Korean
War Veteran, and currently is a member of the U`Jaiakea Lions Club, and has
served as a District Governor for the Lions Club International. Mr. Low states
that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will replace Arian
Nakashsma whose term has expired. He will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2006.
