Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 144, reports as follows:
Bill No. 144, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 355.1,
dated November 27, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 01-55, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2002. The amendment is as follows:

O l 0-221-5221.02 Fire Protection - OCE General $1,690
Resolution No. 132-01 was recently adopted to authorize the acceptance of this donation that
was made by 1250 Oceanside Partners. The funds appropriated in this bill will be used to build a
structure to house the exercise equipment at the Keauhou Fire Station.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 144 and
recommends it pass first reading.
