Comm. 503: APPOINTMENT OF GEORGE D. CURTIS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS
From Mayor Hany Kim, dated January 23, 2002, submitting the appointment of
George D. Curtis of Council District 1 to the Board of Appeals.
Mr. Curtis is a 37-year resident of Hawaii who retired from the
University of I-Iawai`i as a researcher and instructor, and currently serves
as a volunteer Tsunami Consultant for the Hawaii County Civil Defense
agency. He is a member of the Republican Party.
If confirmed, he wil I serve a term to end on December 31, 2006,
replacing Harold Tanouye whose term expired on December 31, 2001.
