REs BILL #62, DRAFT #2 & RESOLUTION #71, DRAFT #2
Please approve the above refereaoed bill and resolution.
HAWali Island needs a post-harvest treatment facility for
eooaomit and environmental purposes. Th1s proposed
laeility would permit increased export of island-grown
products. Additional planting of exportable produce
allows for retention and expansion o! preferred
agricultural activity.
A $Z million appropriation is a small ~1riCe to pay and
wise use oP publio lunds for an endeavor which olfers
so much potential for improving the Bi'g Ialand~a economy
and environment.
Roapectfully,
8111 Cook
