Ordinance No. O 1-116 and it~rt~3 ~:~e ?'~To.
We have been made aware of an error in Bill No. 115, Ordinance No. O1 116, and Hill No. 129,
Ordinance No. 02 2, relating to an amendment to the State Land Use Boundaries Map I~€-14. The
title of those ordinances is not consistent with its content. The title states the district
classification is changed from the Agricultural to the Rural District, whereas in Section 1, it
states the district classification shall be "Residential and Agricultural (RA-2a), rather than
"Rural."
Accordingly, we are transmitting two proposed ordinances to process an amendment that will
correct this discrepancy.

Pursuant to Section 1(g) of Rule ~ of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Planning to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Planning for placement on its future agenda.
