Community Association, Inc., dated July 27, 1989,
transmitting her written testimony that she presented
at the Planning Committee's July 26, 1989 meeting
regarding zoning violations in their subdivision.
Also, transmits copy of a map showing the location of
the illegal dwellings and copies of all correspondence
she has on file, to date, on the matter.
Comm. 773: From Paul T. Mannen dated July 28, 1989, informing of
problems they are faced with stemming from zoning
violations in Vacationland.

July 25, 1989, commenting on traffic concerns on
Haihai, Ainaola and Kawailani Streets, as requested.
Comm. 733: From Chief of Police Victor V. Vierra dated July 26,
1989, commenting, as requested, on the traffic
congestion at the intersections of Ainaola/Kawailani
and Kawailani/Iwalani that will be generated from the
new home owners in the proposed subdivision. States
they are not opposed to the construction of new homes
in Hilo but would like assurances that potential
traffic problems are being considered and addressed in
conjunction with proposed developments of such
magnitude.
