The Federal Department of `Transportation through the State Department of Transportation State and Community Highway Safety Program is providing these funds to purchase seventeen (17) 24-volt reciprocating saws with accessories. The new equipment will reduce injury and mortality to victims pinned in automobile accidents by reducing the extrication times. The grant period is 10/01 /01 - 09/30/02. The funds will be used to purchase 17 24-volt reciprocating saws with accessories.
