Request for executive Session - litigation/appellate expenses
The Office of the Corporation Counsel requests the opportunity to meet with the Council
in executive session at its next permissible meeting.
The Office of the Corporation Counsel seeks approval to increase the ceilings for
counsel representing the County and various co-defendants in this case. As you know,
we seek increases only when invoices are received, to provide the Council an
opportunity to review each billing.
The request for executive session is made pursuant to Chapter 92, Hawaii Revised
Statutes, as amended, since trial strategy, appellate strategy, and matter relating to the
current and anticipated litigation will be discussed.
