Hello Mr. Yagong,
The C~pala Recycling Enterprise would like to make a presentation to your committee on April 2,
X002. $400,000 has been secured through a grant from US EPA for "a joint project in Renewable
Resource Management to be used by the County of Hawaii and the Hawaii Island Economic
Development Board."
The working group consists of WEDS, County Department of Environments! Management,
Environmental Management Commission, "Clean Hawaii" of the State's D13EDT, Rural
Community Assistance Corporation, UPW, recycling businesses, and environmentalists.
We have been meeting over the last 5 months to put together a plan of action and would like to
share our vision with your committee. We look forward to meeting with you.
