WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the stre>rt names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii County Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of January 18, 2002, approved the name for the certain unnamed roadway within the Hawi Mutual Self Help Subdivision, Hawi, North Kohala, Hawaii; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said roadway, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows: Waipiele Street - after the name of the gulch adjacent to the subdivision Hiki`aupe`a Street - after the name of the ahupua`a Hiki`aupe`a Place - after the name of the ahupua`a Dated at Kona Hawai`i, this 20th day of March , 2002.
