SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
SEAVIEW CIRCI,F
PROPOSED LEFT TURN Pl?`OHIBITION
The Department of Public Works, Engineering Division requests that a left turn prohibition be authorized
along Seaview Circle between Kuakini 1ligh:vay and Seaview Circle.
The reasoning behind this proposal is that the Department of Public Works anticipates queued vehicles
on Seaview Circle, west bound from Kual<i~i -Highway that are attempting to turn left into parcels 74, 75,
and 76 will caz~se traffic to back ul-~ o~-~ Kua?~;>~< Highway, -also; the steep grade of Seaview Circle, west of
Kuakini High~~-ay m~,kcs for less than desir:~l-~ld sight distance, meaning, motorists 4ntering Seaview
Circle from Kuakini IJigl~way may not be abx~ to see or anticipate stopped vehicles attempting to turn
left into these parcels.
We ask for yo~:r review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment. Should you have any
