Bill 62, Resolution 71, Draft 2
Honorable Chairman and Members of the Council:
We appreciate the Finance Committee's positive recommendation of Bill 62,
Resolution 71, Draft 2, and the inclusion of several of our recommendations.
For purposes of clarification, we further recommend that ar, economic
analysis and cost benefit study be conducted as part of this project, and that the
focus of the bill be further directed in partnership with private resources.
We applaud the County Council's support of diversified agriculture, and we
appreciate the vision intrinsic in a partnership development of a
comprehensive consolidation-processing-distribixtion center to include
various forms of approved and regulated post harvest treatment protocols.
We respectfully urge your support and passage of these measures in amended
form. Thank you for the opportunity to present these comments.
