This acknowledges your communication dated January 10, 2002 requesting a time
extension to comply with all conditions required for Final Subdivision Approval. In
reviewing the records on file with this department, we note that the applicant has not
demonstrated compliance with Conditions 1 through 7 of the Tentative Subdivision
Approval granted on December 29, 2000. Additionally, Conditions F, I, and J of Change
of Zone (3rdinance No. 97-54 must be complied with before Final Subdivision Approval
maybe granted. As established by Condition B of the above referenced ordinance, all
conditions for Final Subdivision Approval must be met by April 7, 2002.
We understand that the applicant is requesting additional time to demonstrate
performance of all conditions required for Final Subdivision Approval. As provided for
under Condition M of the above referenced ordinance, the Planning Director may grant
an initial extension. Therefore, we are granting an initial administrative extension of five
(5) years to fully comply with all conditions of the above referenced ordinance and
Tentative Subdivision Approval. The date by which the applicant must comply with all
conditions including Final Subdivision Approval is April 7, 2007. We will forward a
copy of your letter to the Planning Commission and County Council for their reference.

Should further delays prevent compliance with this new time line, please be aware that
future requests for a time extension require public hearings and approval by both the
Planning Commission and the County Council.

Dear Mr. Yuen:
The owner of the subject parcel is in the process of getting her construction drawings
approved to comply with the requirementsand conditions that need to be met to receive final
subdivision approva! pursuant to the tentative approval letter dated December 29, 2000.
However, she finds that she is in need of additional time for the approval of the construction
drawings and.subsequentsurvey and construction work. As such, we respectfully request
a time extension of two (2) years (to condition B of the zoning ordinance) in which to
complete the subdivision.
