Informs his department has been directed to convert the Nanawalc Boulevard/Kehau Road intersection to a 4-Way Stop, and that in order to proceed with this project, it will be necessary to amend the Hawaii County Traffic Code. Comm. 542: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY (Bill 188) CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC (Deleting Section 24-216.01 (Flat Rate Payment) and all references to a flat rate payxnent option for parkin zrcter zones ~ From Deputy Director Ronald Ueoka, Department of Public Works, dated February 21, 2002, transmitting the above bill as recommended by the Finance Director. Informs the wording. of this payment option for parking meter zones is questionable and was never implemented by the Department of Public Works.
