The $80,000 is the first year's allotment of a three (3) year grant totaling $240,000, which will be used to supplement the funding of two (2) Deputy Prosecuting Attorney positions. These positions will be assigned to prosecute serious violent crimes involving g~zns. A 37-year resident of Hawaii, Mr. Hendricks is a retired Information Specialist with the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Aquatic Resources, and presently serves on various organizations. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party and, if confirmed, will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006. He will be replacing Clarence Mills, whose term has expired.
