Mary was to'kittg alx~ut the stipend btadget, and Lee and I were
talking abottr the Di~S increase we received in fiscal year 2001-
2002 d show a corresponding increase in salat'ies. However,
a.lthc~ugh the DIIS budget increased, there were decreases in other
areas. °fhere;•ore, some funds wez'e shifted to cove~• those line
ieerrts w•llere there was a deficiency.
T1~e 2(}f12-200 ~ budget sh~~ws a fnrty thousand dollar in crease
because we are- anticipitting getting stipend monies in the
upcoming yvab: I hope this explanation clc;ars up any
rnisundersta:ddi~sg that naay have occurred.
