The Keauea Foundation is wz-iting to formally request that Bill # 62 (the post
harvest treatment facility) receive a Public Hearing in Kona before being
voted on by the Council. We are very concerned about the Impact this facility
will have on the ENTIRE Island environment, and therefore we need more
Information on this proposed project. We are also requesting that our letter
be assigned a communication number and placed on the Council agenda.
Please circulate this correspondence to all County Council members and
advise ASAP.
