Home My WebLink AboutRES 190 Draft 01 2000-2002 NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names for unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Relating to Streets and Sidewalks and Section 23-49, Chapter 23, Relating to Subdivisions, Hawaii County Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of February 25, 2002, approved the names for the certain unnamed roadways in the North Kohala Districts, Hawaii in accordance with the County's adopted Street Naming Policy; and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows: Beers Road "historically used name for the street" Hala`ula-Maulili Road "historically used name for the street" Hall Road "historically used name for the street" Hoea Road "historically used name for the street" Honoipu-Pu `uhue Road "historically used name for the street" Honomakau Road "historically used name for the street" Hook Road "historically used name for the street" Hualua Road "historically used name for the street" `Ilikini Road "historically used name for the street" `Iole Road "historically used name for the street" Kamehameha Park Road "historically used name for the street" Kapa`a Park Road "historically used name for the street" Kapa`au Road "historically used name for the street" Kynnersley Road "historically used name for the street" Lincoln Avenue "historically used name for the street" Mahukona Park Road "historically used name for the street" Maliu Road "historically used name for the street" Pu`uhue Road "historically used name for the street" Union Mill Road "historically used name for the street" `Upolu Road "historically used name for the street" Dated at ,Hawaii, this day of , 2002.
