NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names of
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Relating to Streets and Sidewalks and Section 23-49, Chapter 23, Relating to Subdivisions, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of February 25, 2002, approved
the name for the certain unnamed roadway within the Ali`i Kehau Subdivision, North Kona,
Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadway, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
Polinahe Way - meaning "soft and gentle as a breeze"
Dated at xilo ,Hawaii, this 1st day of MaY , 2002.
