Re: Acceptance of Donations
In accordance with (1) Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, which authorizes
the Council, on behalf of the County, to accept gifts or donations of personal property, and with
(2) Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (c), of the Hawaii County Code, which states- that any
donation or gift which does not fall within the capitalization procedures of the department of finance
shall be submitted to the council by letter for its approval, we request the Council's approval of the
following donation:
$232.00 to tfse Department of Is'arks ~ recreation; for the ~ana`e~+a rainforest ~~o; by the
Aotluckers golf Chub, c/o t,enr~y F~afi~, X55 iVaniakea Street, Fiilo, Havorai`i 96720.
We ask that a letter of appreciation be sent to this donor.
