SUBJECT : MARIJUANA ERADICATION MISSION FOR THE MONTH OF
APRIL 2002
The Hawaii Police Department conducted a marijuana eradication mission on
April 1-4, 2002.
As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated
and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the
complaint disposition are attached.

Complaint:
Green Helicopter flying low about 50' over her house. Caller said that she was afraid she would be
shot by officers in the helicopter. Caller could not see the tail numbers or if the doors were on or off.

Reason for Seing in Area:
Spotter said that weather conditions were bad in that area, did descend to 500' to get below cloud
cover and head towards the ocean.

Immediate Action Taken:
None. Helicopter left the area long before complaint came in.
