Comm. 598: REQUEST FOR UPDATE ON THE REGIONAL TRANSFER STATION
BEING PROPOSED TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COMMISSION
Copy of letter to Mr. Galen Kuba, Acting Director, Department of Environmental
Management, from P&EMC Chairman Dominic Yagong, dated April 17, 2002, stating
that he understands that his Department and the Environmental Management Commission
(EMC) will be reviewing the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan prior to scheduling
public hearings. Therefore, requests that a schedule of the public hearings with dates,
times and places be provided. Also, requests his attendance at the P&EMC meeting on
April 30, 2002 to answer questions regarding the Regional Transfer Station being
proposed to the EMC.
