Dear Councilman Aralcaki:
My husband and I were very disappointed to learn that the funding for the Hawaii County Band
may be dropped.
Over the years we have enjoyed the band's performances at parades, community events, and
the monthly Saturday concerts at Moheaau Park. Once this group of talented musicians is
disbanded, it will very likely be diffieult to get all of them together again.
i~lease do not silence this cherished institution ofi the Big Island.
