Informs the Commission concurs with the Planning
Director in forwarding a denial recommendation for
reasons, as listed.

180-SLIP MARINA AT ITS KOHANAIKI RESORT SITE
Recommends that: 1 the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers
deny Kona Beach Development Venture's Application For
Department Of The Army Permit to construct a 180-slip
marina in Kohanaiki, North Kona; (2) the Planning
Commission deny Kona Beach Development Venture's
application for Special Management Area permit, a
shoreline setback variance and a use permit to
construct the marina; and (3) the Board of Land and
Natural Resources deny Kona Beach Development Venture's
application for a Conservation District Use Permit to
construct the marina.
