Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for the lease of one (1) dozer for the Department of Environmental Management Solid
Waste Division. The current two dozers at the South Hilo landfill are 11 years old and
incur very high maintenance costs due to their age and daily utilization.
The Solid Waste Fund does not have the resources to purchase the referenced
equipment and therefore request the authority to enter in a lease agreement for five (5)
years.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of
Environmental Management.
