Comm. 613: APPOINTMENTS OF EDMUND "DENNY" AUSTEN, GEORGE T. MUKAI AND
PATRICK A. PAVAO TO THE VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated Apri129, 2002, submitting the appointments of Edmund
"Denny" Austen, George T. Mukai and Patrick A. Pavao to the Veterans Advisory
Committee.
Mr. Austen is a six-year resident of Hawaii and currently serves as the Post
Commander for VFW Post 3875 of Hilo. He is not affiliated with any political
party and will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
Mr. Mukai is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and is currently retired from Hawaii
Planing Mill Ltd., where he served as Vice President. He is not affiliated with
any political party and will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
Mr. Pavao is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and recently retired from the State of
Hawaii Department of Defense, Office of Veterans Services and currently is a
Development Instructor with the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Pavao is not
affiliated with any political party and will serve a term to expire on December
31, 2006.
