Streets and Sidewalks
This is to transmit Bill 205, Draft 2, which was the result of the following amendment made at the
Council's meeting of May 1, 2002:
Section 22-4.3(h)
The applicant shall repair, restore, or replace all portions of a county street ...dug under or
otherwise damaged during construction to a state equal to or better than its original condition.
[Regardless of existing conditions, work shall also include the construction of new curb-cuts for
persons with disabilities, accessible driveways or other improvements such that alI] All repair,
restoration or replacement work shall comply with the current requirements of the American with
Disabilities Act (ADA)iincludin~`the construction of curb cuts, accessible driveways, or other
improvements for persons with disabilities.
