Dear Mr. Tyler
As a voter in your district I respectfully request that you to oppose any increase in property taxes until an
equitable spending balance has been reached. Right now over 60% of the taxes are paid by West Hawaii
property owners yet we receive less than half of the budgetary benefits! We cannot support fast hiawaii any
more. Palani Road is little more than a death trap between 7:00 am & 8:30 am and 2;30 pm & 3:30
pm every school day± 1've personally witnessed 2 VFRY close calls and passed numerous accidents. Hilo &
Puna have several new, wide roads With wide shoulders. We have Palani Rd & Mamalahoa Hwy. Large trucks,
school buses, lots of cars, more accidents, injuries and deaths, I would welcome your corrirraents.
