Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of $10,000 to the Department of
Parks and Recreation. This donation, being made by various individuals, organizations,
and businesses, will be used to reimburse the Aquatics Division for the electricity costs
incurred to heat the Kona Community Aquatic Center swimming pool.

To accept and acknowledge a donation of $10,000 for Kona Community Aquatic Center
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation of $10,000 from various individuals,
organizations and businesses to the Department of Parks and Recreation. These funds were donated to
reimburse the Aquatics Division for electricity costs incurred to heat the Kona Community Aquatic Center
swimming pool.
