Dear Councilman Arakaki and Members of the County Council:
Enclosed for your review and approval is Bill No. 182, Draft 3, relating to public
improvements and financing for the fiscal year July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003. Draft 3
amends Draft 2 by increasing the appropriation for the Kahului-Keauhou Parkway (formerly
known as Ali`i Highway) by $13,587,000 from $7,000,000 to $20,587,000. The federal
share will now be $11,109,000 and the county share will be $9,478,000.
The new total for capital projects funds is now $76,051,000.
