Dear Sir :
For the past ~ y~ars, my friends (seniors) and I have
enjoyed attending the'Hawaii County Band concerts which are
held once a month at the blooheau Park bandstand.

decently, when news of abolishing the County Band resurfaced,
we were di swayed and thought, "Ol,, no . :lot again : "
The County Band concerts attract locals as well as -
tourists who appreciate the band's superb performances. It
is unfort~.uiate that our talented band is not inv~~ed to
perform at our State Capitol.
The next performance by the dawaii County il~axxd i~ .
scl-ieduled for June 8th, Saturday, at the biooheau Park at
12:00 noon. I urge our County Council members to attend this
concert to retain funding for the County Hand.
