Comm. 650: APPOINTMENT OF BARBARA BELL AS COUNTY OF HAWAII DIRECTOR OF
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1 2002
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 31, 2002, submitting for confirmation the following
appointment as Director of Environmental Management.
Ms. Barbara Bell, who is presently employed as the Executive Director of
Recycle Hawaii, anon-profit educational organization. She has been
serving as the co-chair of the County's Environmental Management
Commission. She also served in 1995-96 as the County Clerk of the County
of Hawaii.
If confirmed, Ms. Bell will serve a term co-terminus with Mayor Kim, ending on
December 6, 2004.
