Comm. 283.1: From Planning Director Christopher Yuen, dated August 14, 2001, responding to Councilman Tyler's request of August 13, 2001, regarding the heights of specific structures within Kailua Village. Provides a list based on Plan Approvals issued by the Planning Department. Comm. 283.2: From John B. Ray, President, Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference, dated August 7, 2001, stating their opposition to Bill 81. Comm. 283.3: From Mayor Harry Kim, dated March 1, 2002, transmitting a letter from Planning Commission Chair Geraldine M. Giffin, informing that the Planning Commission at its public hearing held on February 1, 2002, voted for a favorable recommendation on the proposed Council-initiated Bill No. 81; however, they decided to forward an unfavorable recommendation because the 120 days in which the Commission had to provide comments has lapsed.
