The Hawaii County Fire Department applied for and was awarded a grant to develop a training program on the usage of child transport seats for all ambulance units on the island of Hawaii. Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Health. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $2,000 EMS for Children Grant.
