Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. George Yamamoto to serve a second term as
the Hilo Interpreters Club representative to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory
Committee. Mr. Yamamoto, a retired police officer and real estate salesman, is a
lifelong resident of Hawaii. He has also served as a volunteer with the Hospice
of Hilo. Mr. Yamamoto states that he is not affiliated with any political party, and
if confirmed, will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
