Re: ~udet Amendrraenf f®r Fiscal Year 200203
In the final round of budget reviews, the council voted to adjust the Golf Course Fund
budget by decreasing $132,249.00 in General Fund Subsidy. As you are aware of the
shortage of available funds within our budget, we would like to request your support in
having the council transfer this amount back to Parks and Recreation in Account
No. 010-500-5505.51-115 for use by our Parks Maintenance Division.
In preparing our status quo budget for the current fiscal year, all General Funds were
taken into account and distributed among the various Divisions/Sections. The
$132,249.00 was included in our Departments allotment of General I"unds and is badly
needed to support our park facilities. The restoration of this General Fund allotment to
our department is also needed for the timely completion of the B~eaukaha Gymnasium.
