Testimony In Support Of
Hawaii County General Plan Revisions
Supporting Open Space At Kohanaiki
®ear Chair Leithead-Todd and Planning Committee:
Please support the recommendation to amend the County General Plan to place the
shoreline at Kohanaiki into the Open Space designation. Many friends and family in the
Waimea area of the big island, also use this area for suiting and camping, and we support
the efforts to protect Kohanaiki from the impact of resort development.
Thank you for considering a positive vote for open space along the coast of Kohanaiki and
supporting Sill #163.
