To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is in reference to the "Bill#232 & "The Gomes Family Limited Partnership".
Our name is Paul & Moana Karnuth and we live at 75-293 Aloha Kona Drive. We would
to state that we are against the proposal to use Nani Kailua Drive, Welo Street, and Aloha
Kona Drive as access streets for the proposed subdivision.
We have two young children and you can surely understand that as parents, we are
always concerned about the safety of our children and the safety of the other children
around us. Most of us do not have fences around our yards and are in no financial
situation to install one.
Using our existing roads as access to a 15 home residential subdivision would add a
significant number of cars driving down our already busy street and thereby increasing
the danger and risk of not only our children but of the other children that live near us as
well.
As a secondary concern, the noise level of the increased traiTic flow would be not only a
terrible nuisance, but also bring down the values of our properties.
We are against the proposal to use Nani Kailua Drive, Welo Street, and Aloha Kona
Drive as access streets for the proposed subdivision.
Please do not allow our streets to be used as access for the new residential lots. We are
confident that a separate access road offthe highway would be more practical, suitable
and pleasant for everyone involved.
